Welcome to FEATURE FRIDAY!
We love all of our customers so much and want to share a little bit about what makes them special, what Mabrook & Co. products they can't live without, and what our motto "clean up your life" means to them.
"I'm 39, turning 40 on Christmas Day! I was born and raised on a farm in small town Iowa. Married my high school sweetheart, Lucas, after college and moved to California where he was stationed in the Air Force.
After college, I was a burn nurse for 6 years and had gone to school to be a Family Nurse Practitioner. In 2006 we moved to Minnesota and when I graduated I started practicing in Family Medicine which I did for almost 5 years until my son, Elijah was born. After he came along, I quit practice to stay home with him.
My husband and I own a CrossFit gym (since 2013) and fitness is another passion of ours. We also have a 2.5 year old daughter, Evelyn, and a baby on the way, due mid-November!"
Favourite Mabrook & Co. product: Dry shampoo by far!! I've tried so many safer brands and they just didn't cut it! I tried this one and was hooked. It is so light and works beautifully! I usually wash my hair 2x/week so on days 2, 3, and sometimes 4, I'll sprinkle a little bit right at the roots in the morning and comb through.
What does "clean up your life" mean to you? "I think it's so important to take care of ourselves and our health and do the best we can to treat it well. To me, this means exercising, eating "healthy", and trying to choose products in our homes and lives that are as free of harmful ingredients as possible. It's never about perfection, but doing the best we can."
How would others describe you? "Passionate, caring, stubborn, helpful."
Tell us some quirky things about you: "I'm a neat freak and can't stand messes. Before my husband and I got married, I didn't really want kids, and now here we are with our third on the way. I'm an introverted extrovert.
