Now, down to the point of this article - How To Use Natural Deodorant.

You're probably here for one of the following reasons:

1. you're curious about making the switch to a natural deodorant

2. you're new to the natural deodorant game and need some guidance

3. you're over your current natural deodorant because it doesn't work the way you want it to

Using a natural deodorant is really simple and isn't much different than using an anti-perspirant. The biggest mistake people make when using a natural deodorant is using too much of it. An informal poll we ran (ie: we asked friends, strangers, and customers) shocked us - y'all are using between 5 and 12 swipes of deodorant on each armpit! WTF.

Let me be the one to tell you - you are using much too much deodorant. I get it, you don't want to be the smelly one - I truly get it. So much of our confidence and sense of self is strongly tied to our appearance and hygiene - smelling like a trucker is not exactly a life goal for most of us. Because of this, people over-apply and cross their fingers that their natural deodorant will work.  There are a couple of problems with this approach: you're wasting the product (and your $), and you're at risk of having the excess deodorant wipe off onto your clothes. You'll probably agree that these are two big reasons to re-think your deodorant strategy.

With natural deodorant, and our Clean Deodorant in particular, less is more. All you need is 1-2 swipes on clean and dry underarms. Then, “squish” your underarms together to help the deodorant absorb into your body. Wait a few minutes and then get dressed! It honestly cannot get easier.
